2022 – diagnosed with stage IVb endometrial cancer (clear cell and endometrioid types). Surgery with no visible cancer remaining.
2023 – 6 rounds of chemo (Carboplatin + Paclitaxel). 30 days external beam radiation to the peritoneum. 3 rounds of brachytherapy. NED
2024 – ca-125 elevated. Resection of 5 cm meningioma (benign brain tumor) with stroke 2 weeks after.
2025 – ca-125 went down then up again. PET showed likely lymph node metastasis but biopsy was negative. Subsequent CT had a “too small to characterize” spot on liver. Subsequent PET showed liver mets. Positive liver biopsy. ca-125 keeps going up now. Small infarcts keep showing up in brain (little strokes) due to hypercoagulability from the cancer. 2nd opinion at Big Cancer Center recommended gemcitabine + avastin + cisplatin. Declined in favor of standard of care therapy with Keytruda + Lenvima, with first infusion on November 26. ca-125 at 800.
